The Illusion of Ipoh
Good morning everyone! Right now it feels like 36 degrees Celcius and I am excited to write to all of you!
This was such a great week! We saw a lot of really cool miracles! Christopher is continuing to do really well, is coming to all of our church activities (including our Tamil Family History) and is progressing very well towards his baptism, which will be towards the end of this week! Woo hoo!
We had a cool guy named David come to church. We met him earlier in the week and invited him to church, and then he walked over 2 kilometers to come to church! It is even crazier because he ended up being relatives with one of our members.
This week, I also had a lot of fun setting a language learning plan (I never thought I would say that sentence). I set up what I want to learn for the rest of the mission and how I am going to get there! It was actually really fun, and I am excited to see my Chinese grow even faster.
The more I spend on my mission, the faster it goes by. I really am loving my mission, and am grateful for the opportunity I have to be here in Malaysia. I am sorry that this is such a random email, but that is what is on my mind. I love you all so much!
Don't forget to smile!
Spiritual Experiences
This week on Tuesday, we had to go to a place that was really far away from where we generally stay to take care of some things. We were both kinda bummed about how long it would take, but then we saw a miracle!
While we were there, Elder Bishop ended up meeting this really nice man who was interested in learning more about our church! We set up an appointment and we are excited to meet with him!
It was cool to see that even though it was so far away, God had arranged us to meet one of his precious children. He really does organize our life, and arranges us to meet the people we need to meet.
I love you all!
