Week 63: Singapore Second Ward

The Sermon of Second Ward

First things first, I found out about transfer news this week and I am STAYING in 2nd Ward! Woo hoo, I am so grateful to be able to stay. Elder Strong and I will be here for 6 more Weeks to see some of the people We found progress!!!

Other than that, this week was really good, but crazy! I went on exchanges with 3 Elders this week, so I didn't spend a ton of time with Elder Strong, which was too bad but I enjoyed seeing some other Elders' styles.

We met with Judy again this week, and she talked about how she really didn't like the environment, which was really hard for me to hear. At this point in my mission, the hardest thing for me is to see When people don't progress. But, she went to one of the English Wards this Sunday (she went to the ward that is 90% white people) and she LOVED it! That was a big miracle that I am grateful for, I think and hope and pray that she will continue to pray.

This week we also had a Stake Adjustment so that Chinese YSA can come to the 2nd Ward, so we started to teach Wang again, who I taught the first week here in 2nd Ward Before transferring him to the YSA Ward. He is going to be baptized in a couple Weeks, which is exciting. We met another man named Wang who wants to get baptized as well, but he is just really really busy with work, so he wasn't able to come to church. 

Wow, it has been a crazy week for sure. It went by super fast but also super slow at the same time. But, as usual, it was great and I am amazed at how fast my mission is going.
