The Sermon of Second Ward
This week was such an amazing week, it was full of amazing experiences!
Funny things first, Elder Strong and I have been having some stomach pains, so we decided to try the BRAT diet: Bananas, Rice, Applesauce (or papayas for those of us who live in Asia), and Toast. We did it for one day and it was the grossest thing ever! I just felt really Low energy all day, but luckily our Bishop bought us pizza and rescued us.
We met with Judy again this week, and it was great! We asked her "Why are you meeting with us" and she said that she feels really comfortable When she meets with us. We told her simply that that was the Spirit, and she said that she believes it. After her Closing Prayer, she was crying, she had felt the Spirit so strongly. I think that she really progressed this week, and is going to progress even more! Her lesson was the best thing ever.
Another cool thing this week was that there was a Mission President Conference here in Singapore, and I got to sing Bass in a double Quartet for all of them. We sang "Joseph Smith's First Prayer" and while we were singing, the Spirit hit me so strongly. Wow, Joseph Smith really did see God. I wanted to cry, but I had to sing so I held it back.
Overall, it was an amazing week! Each week goes by so fast and I have so many good times and it makes me sad that it is all going to come to end one day. But, I am excited to see you all!
I love you all so much! I hope you had a great week and I am so so grateful for all of your wonderful Prayers and thoughts on my behalf. I hope you can feel my love.
