Week 68: Singapore Second Ward

The Sermon of Singapore

Good morning everyone! It has been another week.

On Monday we went to a Dinner appointment with one of our members, and along the way we ran into Sally, who we haven't seen in so long. So she came to Dinner with us, which was fun!

This week has been super busy because We are covering 2 Areas, so we pretty much bounced from appointment to appointment. We also taught English Class, and went on exchanges.

On Thursday we met with Francis and Jessica again, and we invited some members. But the members brought up some really advanced parts of the Gospel that shouldn't be brought up in the first lesson, and it really scared them away and they told us they didn't want to learn anymore. Shoot, it hurt so much to see them go so fast. They are such an adorable couple, I felt really hurt that the lesson went the way it did.

But We started teaching this cool woman named Meng Jia who was IN China for a bit but now is back in Singapore. She has already read a lot of the Book of Mormon and is interested in getting baptized.

Plus President Nelson is coming to Singapore.

It was a hard week, but General Conference was the spiritual boost that I needed to continue. I was grateful to hear from our church Leaders, and to have more faith to go forward and to Trust God and be happy.

I love you all so much! Sorry this email is a little sporadic, it was a crazy week. I hope that you have a wonderful week ahead and you can feel my love from the Garden City.
