The Sermon of Second Ward
Hello everyone! This was an exciting week for sure!
First things first, I got transferred to......Ipoh again! I was only there for 9 Weeks (A year ago haha) so I am excited to go back. Plus, I am going to be Zone Leader companions with Elder Blackwelder, who is an awesome Elder! I am so excited to go biking again and get so tan and say hello to the members I miss from Ipoh!
This was a good week. Elder Bickmore and Elder Child (another Elder) went to Malaysia from Wednesday to Saturday, so I got to be with Elder Hunter for like half of the week!!! He is a cool Elder, definitely one of my best friends on the mission. He was pretty sick, so we rested a bit for the week. And since he is serving in the expat Ward, we had 4 (count 'em) Thanksgiving dinners, with turkey and stuffing and rolls and mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie haha. Much better than last year's Thanksgiving of KFC.
We ate Mala Hotpot with someone and it was the spiciest thing I have ever Eaten, parts of my face (especially my eyelid) were compleyely numb haha.
They also had a baptism on Saturday, which was exciting. I picked a good week to swoop in and be companions with Elder Hunter.
Our people here are all doing really well, Meng Jia came to church this week! Someone bore their testimony and mixed up Alma the Younger and Ammon and Meng Jia picked up the mistake and pointed it out to me, which is impressive that she hasn't even been baptized yet.
This was a great week, one of the best! I am grateful for the chance to have hard Weeks but also amazing Weeks and to grow closer to God every single day. I love you all, thanks for all of your support.

Elder Weatherford's Leadership Service
Dear Brother & Sister Weatherford,
I am writing to let you know that Elder Weatherford has been asked to serve as a Zone Leader in the Singapore Mission. He has shown leadership skills and is obedient and faithful in living the mission rules and serving the Lord with all his heart, might, mind, and strength.
As a leader in the mission, Elder Weatherford will be responsible to teach and work with missionaries to help them learn better teaching skills and to learn how to implement the Singapore Mission goals.
We so appreciate Elder Weatherford. You should be proud of the way he is serving the Lord as one of His valiant missionaries.
Sincerely,
Leonard Woo
President Singapore Mission
