Week 53: Singapore 2nd Ward

The Sermon of Second Ward

Hello! This was an amazing week, honestly one of the best!
I am doing great, thank you so much! It is crazy to me that President Rowley is gone and President Woo is here and I am officially an Old Missionary! For all of my mission, I thought that once President Rowley went home I would have everything figured out. Now that I am here, I realize more that we are all still Learning.

Jia Min got baptized this week, which was awesome! He was really nervous, but he did a great job and gave a great talk afterwards. And then he was asking us so many funny questions like "Do I have to get married?" or "Is it a sin if I am addicted to hugging my mom?" Plus, Anna and her son Junyi were able to attend the baptism and they were really touched, and so they are excited for their upcoming baptism in August.

Another miracle from this week is that Zhao is back! Because it is the end of the Quarter, all of the companies here are making the China people over time, and so He has been so busy. But he is able to come to church again, and he is Planning on getting baptized towards the end of July. I am so glad that he is back, when I saw him come to church I was so glad!

Yu Ze is also doing well! He is back from China so we are going to teach him the last few Lessons and then he can get baptized too. One of our other people (Yuan Yuan) will be in China for a bit and then will come back and get baptized in July. Jimmy is also doing well!

Overall, it was a fantastic week! The worst part of the week was some really spicy noodles that I ate that DESTROYED me. But if that is the worst part, I must be living a good life.

I am grateful to be here in Singapore serving a Mission! I love being here, I am having a great time and really enjoying all of the people here and Learning lots. I love you all so much and hope that you have a great week as well!

Best,
